Port St. Lucie Current Roadway Projects

Crosstown Parkway – 2nd Segment
This segment of the new Crosstown Parkway runs from Bayshore Boulevard to Manth Lane and includes landscaping, decorative lighting, multi-use paths, and up to 6’ high berms.
Traffic signals will be located at Bayshore, Airoso, and Sandia Drive.
Construction is 80% complete.

Crosstown Parkway – 4th Segment
This segment of the new Crosstown Parkway runs from the proposed Interchange at I-95 to Cashmere Boulevard and includes landscaping, decorative lighting, multi-use paths, and 6’-8’ high berms.
Construction is 50% complete.

I-95/Crosstown Parkway Interchange – 5th Segment
New tight diamond Interchange at I-95 and Crosstown Parkway.
Includes FDOT Bridge Deck replacement on I-95.
Construction is 50% complete.
Estimated construction completion is November 2009.
I-95/Becker Road Interchange
New tight diamond Interchange at I-95 and Becker Road.
Construction is 60% complete.
Estimated construction completion is Summer 2009.

I-95/Gatlin Boulevard Interchange Improvements
This project includes the construction of additional north and south bound exit ramp lanes and new mast arm signals at the I-95 and Gatlin Blvd. Interchange. It also includes the widening of Gatlin Blvd. from 4 to 6 lanes out to Village Parkway.
Ramp widening construction is complete.
Signal and widening construction is 15% complete.
Estimated construction completion is March 2009.

Village Parkway Phase I: Gatlin Blvd. to Torrey Pines
This project includes construction of the first phase of Village Parkway. This segment runs from Torrey Pines Institute for Molecular Studies entrance to Tradition Parkway and includes a new 6 lane roadway, sidewalks on both sides and the installation of water and waste water mains and irrigation trunk lines.
Construction is 75% complete.
Estimated completion date is Fall 2008.

Becker Road Widening Improvements
The project entails the re-design, permitting and construction of the widening of Becker Road to a 4 lane divided roadway section from I-95 to Florida’s Turnpike.
The construction plans for Phase 1 of the project, which is from I-95 to just east of Savona Blvd., are 90% complete, and construction should commence before the end of 2008.

Floresta Drive Widening Improvements
The project includes the design, permitting and construction of the Floresta Drive Widening Improvements to a 4-lane roadway section. The project runs from Southbend Boulevard to Port St. Lucie Blvd. (Phase 1), and from Port St. Lucie Blvd. to Thornhill Dr. (Phase 2).
Phase 1 design is 50% complete.
Phase 2 is currently being surveyed.
