SUBJECT: Port St. Lucie Police Explorer Post 411 earns awards at State Competition

On June 19, 2016 through June 25, 2016, Port St. Lucie Police Explorer Post 411 participated in the Florida Association of Police Explorers State Competition in Orlando, Florida. Out of 31 Explorer Posts taking part in the competition, Port St. Lucie Explorer Post 411 took 6th place overall.

Port St. Lucie Explorers sent 10 young men and women to participate in the competition. During the competition the Explorers showed their knowledge and skills in the fields of Search and Arrest, Crimes in Progress, Drill and Ceremony, Color Guard, Crime Scene Processing, Response to Active Shooter, and Traffic Stops.

The competition is a rewarding event for all participants and demonstrates the hard work and dedication each Explorer shows toward their enthusiasm for law enforcement.
