Permits Division

SURVEYS:
If you are planning on putting in a pool, room addition or other permanant structure, surveys in excess of 5 years old will not be accepted.

For all other permits requiring a survey, the survey will be accepted as long as it is in good condition. Illegible surveys will not be accepted.

The Permit Division is responsible for reviewing permit applications to ensure all necessary information and documents are included. They review each file, ascertaining that all inspections have been passed and that all required documentation is on file before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.

The Permit Division is currently in the process of placing all documents on file digitally. With the rapid growth in the city, storage was becoming an issue and this process has saved staff time along with wait time for archival requests.
