Permits Division

The Permit Division is responsible for reviewing permit applications to ensure all necessary information and documents are included. They review each file, ascertaining that all inspections have been passed and that all required documentation is on file before a Certificate of Occupancy is issued.

The Permit Division is in the process of digitizing all documents on file. File storage became an issue as the result of the rapid growth of the city; digitizing documents has saved staff time and wait times for completing requests for archived material. 

Surveys

If you are planning on constructing a pool, room addition or other permanent structure, surveys in excess of five years old will not be accepted.

For all other permits requiring a survey, the survey will be accepted as long as it is in good condition. Illegible surveys will not be accepted.
