The City of Port St. Lucie is currently accepting applications for positions on the Sign Code Review Committee.
The committee is appointed by the City Council and shall have the responsibility of reviewing and evaluating the city’s current sign code, and making recommendations on changes to the code to the City Council. The committee’s regular meeting dates and times will be decided by the committee at its first meeting.
The committee shall be comprised of seven members who are subject to the provisions of the Sunshine Law and will serve on a voluntary basis. Wherever possible, the members shall be representative of the following classifications: two individuals from local businesses; one sign company person; two citizens; one architect and one police officer certified in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design.
The deadline for submitting applications is April 24. Applications should be submitted to the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 121 S.W. Port St. Lucie Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. Applications are available online or by calling the Clerk’s Office at (772) 871-5157.
