Art Gallery to open with new exhibit and free reception

The Port St. Lucie Civic Center’s Art Gallery is proud to announce the opening of its latest exhibit, featuring the works of artists Peter M. Popolizio and Theresa Wood. The exhibit will open with a free reception on Thursday, Aug. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Lobby Terrace of the Civic Center, and will feature light rock music by the Rock Bottom Band.

Light refreshments of hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be served at the reception, which opens the latest in the Civic Center’s rotating art exhibitions.

There is no admission fee for either the reception or the Art Gallery, and parking is also free.

The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. The Art Gallery is closed on Saturday and Sundays.

The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road.
