Coffee and Culture—a fun and healthy afternoon for those 55 and older

Residents age 55 and older are invited to the Port St. Lucie Civic Center for Coffee and Culture, to meet artist Jerry Rogak, followed by a free health screening, on Wednesday, June 30, beginning at 1 p.m.

Proudly sponsored by WellMed, this free event offers seniors the chance to hear Mr. Rogak, a potter, share the ideas and techniques behind his work from 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Then from 3 to 4 p.m., seniors can have their blood pressure checked, their glucose levels read and their balance assessed, all while enjoying light refreshments. The health screenings will be conducted by Mederi CareTenders.

The event will take place in the Port St. Lucie Civic Center’s Multi-Purpose Rooms. To sign up for the event, please call the Port St. Lucie Civic Center at (772) 807-4499.
