Residents age 55 and older are invited to the Port St. Lucie Civic Center for Coffee and Culture, to meet artist Jerry Rogak, followed by a free health screening, on Wednesday, June 30, beginning at 1 p.m.
Proudly sponsored by WellMed, this free event offers seniors the chance to hear Mr. Rogak, a potter, share the ideas and techniques behind his work from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Then from 3 to 4 p.m., seniors can have their blood pressure checked, their glucose levels read and their balance assessed, all while enjoying light refreshments. The health screenings will be conducted by Mederi CareTenders.
