The Port St. Lucie City Council invites the public to a Sept. 11 Remembrance Service on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 8:30 a.m. in the Martin Health System Village Square at the Civic Center.
After the ceremony, guests are invited to attend a special Sept. 11 Monument Unveiling Ceremony in the Civic Center Plaza.
Following the unveiling of the monument, refreshments will be served in the lobby, and the public is invited to view the special Sept. 11 exhibit in the Art Gallery, which will be on display through Sept. 25.
Anyone who suffered a personal loss on Sept. 11, 2001 because of the terrorists’ actions that day are invited to be seated in a designated area in Village Square to honor their loved ones.
The Port St. Lucie Civic Center is at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 1 and Walton Road.
