Local businesses and groups sought to participate in this year's Fall Festival trick-or-treat giveaway

Halloween trick or treaters

Local businesses and groups are urged to come out to the 2012 Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 27 to participate in the annual Trick or Treat Zone giveaway.

The Civic Center will provide tables, and businesses and groups that participate are asked to provide people to staff the tables and candy to hand out to the kids. The giveaway starts at 5:30 p.m. and continues until the candy runs out. A fun prize will be awarded for the best decorated table.

Port St. Lucie's 11th Annual Fall Festival, featuring a Haunted House, carnival rides, costume contest, live entertainment and more, will be held from Thursday, Oct. 25 through Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Civic Center.

The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 1 and Walton Road.
