Family Fun Day with "Cinco de Mayo" flair at the Civic Center on May 5

An exciting "Family Fun Day" event with a "Cinco de Mayo" theme is scheduled for Saturday, May 5 at the Civic Center.

[This event had originally been scheduled for Saturday, April 21, but was rescheduled due to the threat of inclement weather]

This family-friendly event will take place outdoors at the Martin Health System Village Square from noon to 9 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

The event will include live music by the band La Nueva Herencia Latina, entertainment and fun activities for the entire family.

Food vendors and arts and crafts vendors are encouraged to be part of Family Fun Day's fun and excitement:

The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. Highway 1 and Walton Road.
