It’ll be hard for teenagers to say, “There’s nothing to do” this summer when the Civic Center begins its “Hot Summer Nights” full of activities for youth ages 13 to 17, beginning Friday, July 24 from 7 to 10 p.m.
Volleyball, ping pong, air hockey, board games, whiffle ball, dodgeball, kickball, Wii, pool tournaments and more are offered for the very reasonable admission price of $10. The price even includes a slice of pizza and a drink.
Act now, as the registration deadline is Wednesday, July 22, and space is limited. The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road.
