It’s the music that makes you swing in your seat or dance on your feet, and it’s all there to enjoy at the Civic Center on Thursday, Feb. 19.
The Port St. Lucie Community Concert Band, under the direction of Stephen Torick, will present a concert to the public on Thursday, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m. in the Emerald Ballroom of the beautiful Civic Center, located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place (on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road).
The band will feature music by Glenn Miller, Harry James and Benny Goodman, as well as the sounds of Alexander’s Ragtime Band, Dixieland Jam and St. Louis Blues. The evening will also include an Armed Forces Salute in honor of our veterans and those who currently serve in the military.
The concert is free and no tickets are required. However, donations are welcome for the annual scholarship presented to a Port St. Lucie graduate who majors in music.
