The City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department is looking for vendors for the 2009 Freedomfest event, to be held at the beautiful new Port St. Lucie Civic Center on Saturday, July 4 from 9:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Thousands of people come out every year for this popular event, which features fine arts, woodworking, crafts, vendors, children's activities, dance performances and live music. The day will kick off with the annual Freedomfest mile run followed by a colorful parade at 10 a.m. and will be capped by a magnificent fireworks display (weather permitting).
The cost for a 10-foot by 10-foot display booth is $44.73 (tax included). To participate, vendors are required to have a valid Florida sales tax number and are responsible for collecting and remitting any applicable Florida sales tax to the Department of Revenue.
