The City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department and the Port St. Lucie Civic Center announce the opening of the latest art exhibition at the Civic Center Art Gallery.
The exhibit will open with an artists’ reception on Thursday, Feb. 26 from 6 to 8 p.m. The reception will include a live performance by violinist Thomas Callino and light refreshments of hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The exhibit will be open for six weeks and will highlight the works of sculptor Tykie Ganz and photographer Elliot Hurwitt, who will be on hand to meet those at the reception.
The works of these talented artists will be on display as part of the Art Gallery’s year-round, rotating exhibitions. Opening night of each new artist’s exhibit will include a reception with light refreshments, live music and an opportunity to meet with the artists. There is no admission fee for either the reception or the Art Gallery, and parking at the Civic Center is free.
The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road.
