The City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department and the Port St. Lucie Civic Center announce the opening of the second art exhibition at the Civic Center Art Gallery.
The exhibit opened with an artists’ reception on Jan. 15. The reception included a live performance by pianist Jim vanVoorheis and light refreshments of hors d’oeuvres and beverages. The exhibit will be open from Jan. 16 through Feb. 19 and will include paintings by Bernard Lipkin and wood sculptures by David Engdahl.
The works of these talented artists will be on display as part of the Art Gallery’s year-round, rotating exhibitions. Opening night of each new artist’s exhibit will include a reception with light refreshments, live music and an opportunity to meet with the artists. There is no admission fee for either the reception or the Art Gallery.
The Civic Center is located at 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place, on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road.
