Shake your tailfeather and run to the Civic Center’s next 5K

Shake Your Tailfeather 5kThe Port St. Lucie Civic Center is proud to announce its pre-Thanksgiving Shake Your Tailfeather 5K run, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 8 a.m.

The race, which begins and ends at the Civic Center, is the second of the year at this location. The first was held last spring, and was well-attended, so early registration is recommended for those who wish to participate.

The registration fee is $15 before Nov. 14, $20 from Nov. 15–20, and $25 on race day.

Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners and to the top three runners from each age group, both male and female.

T-shirts and race numbers may be picked up on race day from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. in Village Square at the Civic Center.

All runners must sign a waiver and release form to be entered into the race. A parent or guardian's signature is required for those under 18 years of age.

Registration forms are available online, at the Civic Center, 9221 S.E. Civic Center Place (on the southeast corner of U.S. 1 and Walton Road) or by e-mailing Jason Barela at jbarela@cityofpsl.com.
