Code Enforcement Volunteers

The Code Enforcement Division always has a need for qualified volunteers to assist in executing the mission of the Division. Please refer to the following documents when considering whether to volunteer for the Code Enforcement Division:

Who volunteers?

The Division has benefited from a diverse array of volunteers, including seniors, students, professionals, families, community groups, and more.

What type of work do volunteers perform?

Office help

  • Filing
  • Computer input
  • Copying
  • Envelope stuffing
  • Phone relief
  • Other office work to be determined

Field help

  • Sign patrol and removal
  • Sweeps (i.e., shutters, etc.)
  • Mowing inspections and re-inspections ยท
  • Abandoned house monitoring
  • Other field work to be determined
