Garage sale permits

If you are planning a garage sale in Port St. Lucie, you need to obtain a special permit from the city's Code Compliance Division. The cost is only $5. The city will advertise your garage sale on its Web site, in it's weekly electronic newsletter, and on PSL-TV20, which airs on Comcast and Hometown Cable Plus 24 hours a day.

A valid application and payment must be submitted by Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. for a garage sale to be included in the upcoming weekend's promotion on the city's Web site, e-newsletter, and PSL‑TV20.

Completed garage sale permit applications must be submitted in person at the Permitting Division, 1st floor of Building "B" at 121 S.W. Port St. Lucie Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34984. Get map.

** Garage sale permits can only be issued to the owner of the property and/or a tenant with identification showing that they reside at the property where the sale is being held.
