If you are planning a garage sale in Port St. Lucie, you need to obtain a special permit from the city's Code Enforcement Division. The cost is only $5. The city will advertise your garage sale on its Web site, in it’s weekly electronic newsletter, and on PSL TV-20, which airs on Comcast and Hometown Cable Plus 24 hours a day.

** Garage sale permits can only be issued to the owner of the property and/or a tenant with identification showing that they reside at the property where the sale is being held.
