The City of Port St. Lucie’s City University is a free, eight (8) week program designed to help residents learn about their city government.

Participants will learn about a wide variety of topics like; how decisions are made, how city funds are allocated and how departments operate. Plus, you’ll discover the current status and future plans for Port St. Lucie’s development and proposed projects. You’ll participate in lively discussions, role-playing and other fun interactive activities. You’ll tour city facilities and overall become a more informed and involved citizen.

Plus, you’ll discover the current status and future plans for Port St. Lucie’s development and proposed projects. You’ll participate in lively discussions, role-playing and other fun interactive activities. You’ll tour city facilities and become a more informed and involved citizen.

City University is offered two times a year and is free for anyone living or working in Port St. Lucie. This program has been developed for adults. However, high school juniors and seniors may apply and include a letter of recommendation from a teacher.

Eight (8) sessions will be held on consecutive Wednesday evenings beginning April 12, 2017 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. There will be a graduation ceremony on May 31, 2017.
