Since December, there have been 11 incidents reported to the Port St. Lucie Police Department wherein unknown suspects targeted businesses and defaced property with anti-Semitic graffiti. Also recently, residents found anti-Semitic graffiti on DVD covers and books that were left on their property.
With the most recent incidents, there was no damage to the homeowner’s property and the items defaced did not belong to the homeowner.
Anyone with information on these crimes should call Treasure Coast Crime Stoppers at 1 (800) 273-8477. There may be a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of the individual or individuals involved in these anti-Semitic incidents and crimes. The Anti-Defamation League also is offering and award of up to $1,500 for information leading to an arrest of anyone responsible for the incidents.
