FPL clearing lines in Import Drive, Savage Boulevard areas

Florida Power and Light is doing preventive maintenance by trimming trees near power lines in Port St. Lucie. The work will be conducted by FPL contractor, Asplundh Tree Expert Company and will take place over the next several weeks in areas along and near Import Drive, and along and near Savage Boulevard.

Residents are asked to allow the crews access to the lines and to keep aggressive dogs inside. A color-coded map of the specific locations of the work areas is provided to help determine locations.
