The City of Port St. Lucie has established a hotline for residents to leave messages about the search for a new police chief. The number is (772) 344-4301.
The hotline was created to allow residents to share their ideas and concerns about the search process and the three candidates, who began meeting city officials and residents Thursday evening, June 14.
The candidates will spend Friday, June 15 touring the city, and on Saturday afternoon, June 16, they will participate in a public question-and-answer session at City Hall beginning at 2 p.m.
Anyone wanting to ask a question of the candidates is asked to write it down and put it in a drop box that has been placed at City Hall. Questions also can be submitted through the city’s website on the Contact Us page.
The address for City Hall is 121 S.W. Port St. Lucie Boulevard.
