Fort Pierce - The deadline to file a 2009 Homestead Exemption is Monday, March 2. A Homestead Exemption of up to $50,000 may save residents hundreds of dollars each year on property taxes.
To qualify, an applicant must be a Florida resident. Applications can be filed at any of the three Property Appraiser offices in St Lucie County or on-line at www.paslc.org.
