Sixth Annual Fall Festival scheduled for Oct. 24 - 28

The City of Port St. Lucie's 6th Annual Fall Festival begins Wednesday, Oct. 24 and runs until Sunday, Oct. 28 at Tradition Field in St. Lucie West.

Throughout the festival there will be live music and activities for the whole family. There will be Karaoke on stage Friday night from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. On Saturday the Showcase Band will perform live on stage, and the March of Dimes Bikers for Babies Poker Run will take place.

There will be a silent and live auction and hundreds of motorcycles from around the state will be on display. Flashback will perform live on stage from 2 to 5 p.m. The annual costume contest begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m. At 7:30 winners will be announced.

Parks and Recreation Department will be holding their annual costume contest Saturday, October 27 beginning at 5 PM. Registration and judging for the costume contest will begin at 5 PM and run until 7 PM. At 7:30 winners will be announced. All ages are invited to attend and awards will be given for the most creative, scariest, and cutest, as will as Family Awards for those that dress in theme.
Also, Saturday at 5 p.m. the Port St. Lucie Police Department will open the Trick or Treat Tent, which will stay open until all the candy is gone! The D.A.R.E. program will also host the Haunted House from Wednesday evening through Saturday night. The cost is $4 to enter.

There will be an Arts and Craft Show Wednesday through Sunday. The Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County will offer free kids activities on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Local food vendors will be on site selling local cuisine and carnival favorites. Parking is $5 per carload Thursday - Sunday. This event benefits the United Way of Saint Lucie County, Boys and Girls Club of St. Lucie County, PSL Downtown Lions Club Programs and other charities.
