Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony set for Dec. 6

The City of Port St. Lucie’s Parks and Recreation Department will hold a Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 5:45 p.m. at the City Hall Complex, 121 SW Port St. Lucie Boulevard.

The program will begin with a holiday musical performances by local youth dance and performance groups. There will be musical performances by the popular local band Shaboom. Santa Claus will be arriving shortly after the lighting of the Holiday Tree, which will take place at about 6:30 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend this celebration. Refreshments will be served. Immediately following the Ceremony the Winter Wonderland Light show will take place across the street at the Port St. Lucie Community Center on Airoso Boulevard. It will run every evening until Jan. 2 from 6 to 7 p.m. There is no cost to attend.
