Because of maintenance work scheduled on some city telephone lines, the main numbers for the Minsky Gym, the Port St. Lucie Community Center, and the water and sewer billing office will be temporarily out of order starting Friday, Oct. 17 at 5 p.m. However, temporary alternative numbers have been set up for the public to use in the meantime.
All numbers will become active Friday afternoon.
The main phone number at the Community Center, (772) 878-2277, and the main number at Minsky Gym, (772) 344-4142, will be working again on Monday morning. The main number for water and sewer billing, (772) 871-5330, will be working again on Saturday morning.
The Parks and Recreation Department and the Utilities Services Department apologize for any inconvenience to residents, but arranged for the work to be done over the weekend to minimize disruptions.
Other potentially affected city offices will be closed over the weekend, so no other interference with normal service is expected.
