On August 1, 2008 the Port St. Lucie Police Department along with approximately 300 kids and McGruff the Crime Dog will march through the Parks Edge subdivision in Port St. Lucie in order to raise awareness for the 25th Annual National Night Out Against Crime event.
The march will start at 10 a.m., and all participants will stage on the corner of S.W. Bridgeport and Landale boulevards. After the march there will be a cookout sponsored by the Police Athletic League (PAL), a DJ and bounce houses for the kids.
National Night Out Against Crime will be held on Tuesday August 5th from 4 to 7 p.m. at Tradition Stadium, where the Mets play.
