A public meeting will be held for neighbors in the area of Delano and Gena roads, where they intersect Flanders Road near Port St. Lucie Boulevard and U.S. 1.
There will be a presentation of a proposed change to the comprehensive land-use plan for 10 properties at that intersection. This is not a city-run meeting, but a city-required meeting, which will be conducted by a private attorney, Robert Burson. Mr. Burson represents the owners of the lots in question. This area is considered a conversion zone, meaning property owners can apply to change their zoning from residential to commercial.
The meeting will be held at the Morningside Library, 2410 S.E. Morningside Blvd. on Tuesday, Feb. 17 at 7 p.m.
