The St. Lucie County Master Gardeners have a new south county office, located at the Morningside Branch Library in Building 105, Suite 106, 2410 Morningside Blvd.
A Master Gardener will be available on Tuesdays from 1 – 3 p.m. and Fridays from 1 – 3 p.m. A horticulturist will also be available on site the third Thursday of every month from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. starting Thursday, Aug. 21.
Organized by the University of Florida, the Master Gardener initiative is a statewide program in gardening. Participants in the program are trained to provide educational leadership to the community in home gardening and landscaping.
