Since hurricanes are one of the main concerns to residents of our region, we encourage you to download the most recent edition of our Hurricane and Emergency Preparedness Quick Guide.
As a storm approaches, pay attention to the latest weather updates issued by the National Hurricane Center and consult the hurricane evacuation route map.
We encourage all of our residents to sign up for the First Call emergency notification system that provides instant alerts from the county's Emergency Command Center in the event of a hurricane or other disaster.
