Port St. Lucie Current Roadway Projects

Segment 2 Manth Bay
Crosstown Parkway – 2nd Segment

Construction is 100% complete. The Parkway is now complete and opened to the public



 

Segment 4 Crosstown Pky
Crosstown Parkway – 4th Segment

This segment of the new Crosstown Parkway runs from the proposed Interchange at I-95 to Cashmere Boulevard and includes landscaping, decorative lighting, multi-use paths, and 6’-8’ high berms.

Scheduled to be open to the public March 28, 2009.

 

Segment 5 Crosstown Pky
I-95/Crosstown Parkway Interchange – 5th Segment

New tight diamond Interchange at I-95 and Crosstown Parkway.

Includes FDOT Bridge Deck replacement on I-95.

Scheduled to be open to the public March 28, 2009.


Becker I-95 Interchange
I-95/Becker Road Interchange

New tight diamond Interchange at I-95 and Becker Road.
Construction is 75% complete.
Estimated construction completion is August 2009.

 

 

 

Interchange Improvements
I-95/Gatlin Boulevard Interchange Improvements

This project includes the construction of additional north and south bound exit ramp lanes and
new mast arm signals at the I-95 and Gatlin Blvd. Interchange. It also includes the widening of Gatlin Blvd. from 4 to 6 lanes out to Village Parkway.
Ramp widening construction is complete.
Signal and widening construction is 75% complete.
Estimated construction completion is July 2009.



Village Parkway Phase II: Gatlin Blvd. to Torrey Pines

This project includes construction of the second phase of Village Parkway. This segment runs from Torrey Pines to Becker Road and includes sidewalks on both sides and the installation of water and waste water mains and irrigation trunk lines.
Construction is 30% complete.
Estimated completion date is May 2010.

Becker Road
Widening Improvements

The project entails the re-design, permitting and construction of the widening of Becker Road to a 4 lane divided roadway section from I-95 to Florida’s Turnpike.
The construction plans for Phase 1 of the project, which is from I-95 to just east of Savona Blvd., are complete, and construction is approximately 75% complete.

The design for Phase 2 of the project, which is just east of Savona Blvd. to Florida’s Turnpike, is basically complete, and the estimated construction completion for the entire roadway project is December 2010.



Floresta Dr
Floresta Drive Widening Improvements

The project includes the design, permitting and construction of the Floresta Drive Widening Improvements to a 4-lane roadway section. The project runs from Southbend Boulevard to Port St. Lucie Blvd. (Phase 1), and from Port St. Lucie Blvd. to Thornhill Dr. (Phase 2).
Phase 1 design is 90% complete.
Phase 2 design is 60% complete.
