Interchange at Becker Road and I-95, provides residents access to the Interstate from the southern area of the city.

Westmoreland Boulevard  

As part of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act project with Florida Department of Transportation, for resurfacing of Westmoreland Boulevard from Cambridge Drive to Bakersfield Drive. This project is complete.

Sidewalk along California Boulevard  

A new sidewalk was installed along California Boulevard from Heatherwood Boulevard to Fairway Isles as part of the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act with the Florida Department of Transportation. Project is complete.

Becker Road widening

The widening of Becker Road to a 4-lane divided residential boulevard from I-95 to Florida's Turnpike.

This portion of Becker Road extends from I-95 to Tacoma St and has been completed.

 

The roadway section has pedestrian lighting, landscaping and multi-use pathways.

Becker Road Segment 4 extends from Athena This segment of Becker Road runs from Drive to the Florida Turnpike and has now Tacoma Street to Albacore Street, and been completed.

 

This segment of Becker Road runs from Tacoma Street to Albacore Street, and includes improvements to the intersection of Becker Road and Port St. Lucie Blvd. Anticipated completion date is November 2010.

Becker Road Segment 3 will extend from Albacore Street to Athena Drive. This segment of the project has been designed and will be let for bids for construction in October 2010. Construction should commence in January 2011 and should be complete within one year.

Village Parkway

Village Parkway  

Construction of the first phase of Village Parkway has been completed from Tradition Parkway to the entrance of the Torrey Pines Molecular Institute. The 6-lane urban roadway has sidewalks on both sides. The second phase of Village Parkway will continue a 4-lane roadway section with sidewalks south to Becker Road. Estimated completion date is November 2010.

West—Construction of a 2-lane divided roadway from Community Boulevard to Village Parkway including sidewalks. Estimated completion date is October 2010

East—Construction of a 2-lane divided roadway from Village Parkway to the entrance of the Vaccine and Gene Therapy Institute. Estimated completion date is November 2010. The Eastern Watershed Improvement Project is the construction and installation of a system of drainage ditches, stormwater ponds, piping, pumps and other structures that work together to manage stormwater runoff on the east side of the City. When complete, the improvements will help alleviate flooding, such as experienced during Tropical Storm Fay.

The Eastern Watershed Improvement Project is the construction and installation of a system of drainage ditches, stormwater ponds, piping, pumps and other structures that work together to manage stormwater runoff on the east side of the City. When complete, the improvements will help alleviate flooding, such as experienced during Tropical Storm Fay.

Port St Lucie Boulevard—South

This project is the planning and design of the widening of Port St Lucie Boulevard from Gatlin Boulevard to Becker Road. The project is being designed utilizing Engineering Department staff.
