The City of Port St. Lucie’s Engineering Dept. announces that Phase 4 construction on Becker Road will begin Monday, Oct. 5. The road will not be closed during construction, but motorists should expect delays and periodic lane shifts.
Phase 4 roadway and utility construction begins at the Florida Turnpike and runs to the west for approximately 0.50 miles ending just west of Paley Court. Phase 4 is part of a project that entails the redesign, permitting and construction of the widening of Becker Road to a four-lane divided roadway from I-95 to Florida’s Turnpike.
