City Utility crews discovered a water main valve leaking in the southbound lanes of Bayshore Boulevard south of Crosstown Parkway, across the street from Bayshore Elementary School.
The outermost southbound lane on Bayshore Boulevard (nearest to the sidewalk) along with the opposing northbound left turn lane into the Isabella's plaza has been closed. City utility crews have begun work and do not expect further lane closures at this time.
Motorists traveling South on Bayshore Boulevard between Crosstown Parkway and Port St. Lucie Boulevard are encouraged to seek an alternative route until further notice. Airoso Boulevard between Crosstown Parkway and Port St. Lucie Boulevard and/or Cameo Boulevard between Crosstown Parkway and Port St. Lucie Boulevard are suggested alternative routes.
Property owners adjacent to the lane closures have been notified.
More information will be made available as it is known.
