The Port St. Lucie Civic Center is home to a 2,000 square foot Art Gallery, a beautifully-appointed exhibition space framed with stately columns and classic woodwork. It offers local and regional artists a professional venue to advance and display their work.
Art Gallery’s Mission
To enhance and sustain the cultural and artistic life within our community. A new art collection is chosen every eight weeks to display. An Artist Reception, a free and open to the public event, honors our featured artist or group for each new display.
Gallery Hours & Reception Dates
The Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Artist Receptions are from 6 – 8 p.m and reoccur through out the year:
- 2018 Reception dates: February 1, March 29, May 24, July 19, September 13 and November 8.
Call for Artists
We invite artists to submit an application to display their artwork, exhibiting their creativity and talent. Featured artists have the opportunity to sell their original creations and reproductions. In addition, an artist’s reception is held on the opening night of each exhibition, with live music, light refreshments and the chance for Art Gallery patrons to meet the featured artist.
If you are interested in showcasing your talent at the Civic Center, please complete an application for artists. Once we have juried all works, we may contact you to extend an offer to exhibit in the Port St. Lucie Civic Center Art Gallery.
Call for Musicians
We invite musicians to display their love for the art of music publicly at an Artist Reception held on opening night of each exhibition.
If you are interested in performing during the reception, please complete an application for musicians. Once we have juried your performance, we may contact you to extend an offer to perform at a Port St. Lucie Civic Center Art Gallery’s Artist Reception.
