So you are ready for a position with the City of Port St. Lucie. Below are some of the most frequently asked questions and answers. This information will help you on your way to becoming an employee of the City of Port St. Lucie.
Q. I want to be a Water Plant Operator. Can I apply even though the position is not posted?
A. We can only accept applications for positions that are posted. Something should be available soon.
Q. I have an application for a posted position. When do I have to turn it in?
A. All applications must be post marked by the stated closing date.
Q. Can I apply on-line?
A. No, we must have an original application with an original signature.
Q. Can I turn in a resume?
A. You may attach a resume to a completed application. Make sure all questions are answered completely. Please do not write "see resume" or "see attached." We would hate to have to return your application to you.
