The City of Port St. Lucie is proud of the many ways the community steps forward as volunteers, and listed below are some of the numerous opportunities available for residents to share their valuable time and talents.
Volunteers for the city will be expected to follow certain general guidelines and in some cases more specific requirements set by individual departments. You will also be asked to submit an application at City Hall so we can better fit your talents to the volunteer opportunities available. You may also apply online
The volunteer coordinator for the department in which you are interested will contact you to set up an appointment to discuss your interests. Once that appointment takes place, and if it results in your selection as a volunteer, completion of a volunteer packet and background check (that may include FBI fingerprinting for Police Department assignments) will be required. .
