Name: Doug Heighton Profile: My wife, Cindy, and I moved to Port St Lucie in 2005 after 16 years of visiting relatives in the area. After retiring from IBM – UK as a Project Manager, I took a life long interest in gardening to another step, when I became a University of Florida Master Gardener in Orange County. I later began working in the commercial landscape maintenance field, managing projects in landscape design and maintenance for a major hotel and resort complex in the Orlando area. Since my retirement I have been able to spend more of my time working in the community. Name: Nichole Rouse I have lived in Port St. Lucie since 1999 when I moved here from Long Island, NY. I am a homemaker and serve the community by volunteering with the Oxbow Eco Center, Heathcote Botanical Gardens and the Hibiscus Center. I am a serious conservationist and greatly enjoy sharing and learning new ways to save our Earth through recycling, reusing and conserving our resources. It is a pleasure to be on the Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Committee. I believe the committee to be a great resource for me to share my ideas and spread the word about ways we can contribute to keeping Port St. Lucie beautiful. |
