Go for the Green at the KPSLB Tree Giveaway on October 27

The Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Committee is holding it's third annual FREE tree giveaway on Saturday, Oct. 27, from 8 a.m. to noon, outside the county government building, 1664 S.E. Walton Rd., about one block east of U.S. Highway 1. To obtain a tree, residents must visit five or more of seven educational stations to learn about proper tree selection and care. Educational sessions will be held on: Right Plant/Right Place, Fertilizing, Watering, Pests, Diseases, Pruning and Planting. Residents will also receive a copy of the city's full-color tree planting guide. Identification will be required to prove that you are a city resident. Limit one tree per household.
