Proud of your yard? Enter the Neighborhood Beautification Program contest
Posted Sept. 10, 2009
Port St. Lucie residents who take great pride in the appearance and maintenance of their properties now have the opportunity to be formally recognized for their efforts by the Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Committee, and win a 2010 annual pass to the brand new Botanical Gardens, including free admittance to the Gardens’ grand-opening party.
The KPSLB Neighborhood Beautification Award is a non-monetary recognition bestowed on the property owner who demonstrates above-average efforts in maintaining their property and contributing to the overall appearance of the community at large. The owner of the top yard selected will receive an official “KPSLB Neighborhood Beautification Award” sign, to be displayed on their property for three months. Winning properties will also be displayed on the KPSLB Web site and on PSL-TV20.
The deadline for nominations is Wed., Sept. 30. Nominations must be submitted with a picture of the property, contact information and a brief summary in 100 words or less as to why the property deserves the recognition. Nominations may be e-mailed to kpslb@cityofpsl.com or mailed to the Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Committee Neighborhood Beautification Program, 450 S.W. Thornhill Drive, Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
