Recent Hazardous Household Waste Drop-Off Day a Success

The City of Port St. Lucie and the Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Committee held another successful free Hazardous Household Waste Drop-Off Day on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 8 a.m. to noon at the City’s Public Works complex, at the southwest corner of Bayshore Boulevard and Thornhill Drive.  

Here’s a summary of items dropped off:
226 Cars
21 55-gallon drums of hazardous liquids
13 boxes of hazardous solids
20 cubic yards of tires
16 20lb-propane tanks
1350 lbs batteries
3194 lbs electronics
