Recycling made easier at city’s events

In an effort to further their on-going environmental commitment to Port St. Lucie, the city’s Parks and Recreation Department and the Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Committee have partnered with Waste Pro to make recycling even easier at city-sponsored events.  When enjoying all the fun Port St. Lucie has to offer, look for recycling bins at the following upcoming events, and help Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful:

Thursday, Dec. 4 – Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Civic Center

Saturday, Dec. 6 – Festival of Lights at the Civic Center

Saturday, Feb. 7 – Bonfire and Hayride at Tradition Field

Saturday, March 14 – St. Patrick’s Day at the Civic Center

Saturday, April 3 and Sunday, April 4 – Art and All That Jazz at the Civic Center

Saturday, April 11 – Spring Eggstravaganza at Whispering Pines Park

The City of Port St. Lucie has a contract with Waste Pro to haul all household garbage, recyclables, yard clippings, bulk items and other trash from every property in the city.
