Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Committee seeking New Members
The City’s Keep Port St. Lucie Beautiful Committee is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the committee, which promotes beautification of the city through an annual Clean-up Day, an Adopt-A-Street program, a Landscaping and Beautification Grant Program, anti-littering education campaigns and other initiatives.
The committee meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 3 p.m. Members serve on a voluntary basis. The committee operates under established bylaws and must comply with Florida Sunshine Law provisions. Appointments to the committee shall be made on the basis of interest or experience in beautification of the city. Membership shall, whenever possible, include persons having professional landscape, marketing, educational or fundraising experience.
Applicants should have a strong desire for landscaping and beautification projects, anti-litter and blight removal campaigns, and to enrich the quality of life for all city citizens through positive involvement.
Three members needed
Applicants are requested to submit a brief resume along with the application.
