Port St. Lucie Growth Study
"Growth Perspectives, Anticipated Capital Programs and Projected Fiscal Scenarios for 2004-2008" is a research document prepared by the City Manager's Office aimed at analyzing recent growth in Port St. Lucie.
The first part of the
study (released in January 2004) provides an overview of the local and
regional economy (the Treasure Coast, St. Lucie County and Port St.
Lucie) using the Florida grand total as a benchmark. It also evaluates
existing land,
housing and demographic characteristics in Port St. Lucie
including recent trends, perspectives and proposed developments by
geographical area.
A detailed analysis of the five-year capital
programs (2004-2008) for the City of Port St. Lucie, the St. Lucie
County Fire District, the School Board of St. Lucie County and St. Lucie
County is presented as well.
