Model Boat Club
The St. Lucie Model Boat Club meets every Tuesday at the lake at 1800 Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, just south of Lyngate Park.  They gather at about 9 a.m. and the races start at 10 a.m.  They sail Radio Control Model Sailboats and sometime they have electric speedboats.  The public is welcome to stop by and watch the races.  The boats sail with the same rules as a full size boat.  This club is available for demonstrations to special groups or events.  For more information please call 879-0157.

Fitness Programs
The staff from St. Lucie Medical Center operates the Fitness Center located inside the Port St. Lucie Community.  For more information on rates and membership availability you can call the fitness center at 343-9590.

Aerobics Fun Fitness
(Ages 15 - Up)
Join me, Lucille Cappello, and learn how to workout at your own pace. Regular exercise prevents cardiovascular disease, reduces triglycerides and also helps to prevent osteoporosis. Awesome workout includes weights, bands, and steps. First class is free. Monthly fee is $30.00 or Drop-In for $5.50 includes tax, per class. AFAA certified and insured. Karate
(Ages 8 +)
Karate classes will be offered in the art of Tae Kwon Do, which is a style of karate taught by the American Kang Duk Won Association.  It is a mental and physical discipline art utilizing the mind and the body as a single unit.  This is an on-going year round program. New participants must register before the 7th of the month. There is a $5.40 late fee if paid after the 7th of the month.  Pre-registration is required.  Classes meet 3 times a week Monday 5:30-6:45pm, Wednesday 6:00-7:30pm, and Friday 7:00-8:30pm.  This class will not be offered for online registration.
