Annual Bonfire & Hayride set for Saturday, Feb. 2

The City of Port St. Lucie Parks and Recreation Department will hold the 25th Annual Bonfire and Hayride Extravaganza on Saturday, Feb. 2, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Tradition Field in St Lucie West. 

This fun filled family event is open to all ages. The entrance fee is $1 per person and the first 200 people will receive a special gift from the Parks and Recreation Department. Refreshments will be sold to benefit local charities.

The band Remedy will perform on stage.  There also will be pony rides, a bounce house, face painting, a petting zoo, games and hayrides.  New this year will be a mechanical bull ride, and there will be the 5th annual “Cow Chip Toss Contest,” with prizes issued to the winners in each age group.
