Civic Center Seeks Donors Who Will Receive Recognition for Contributions
The City’s Parks and Recreation Department has initiated a naming rights and benefactor program to support the new Civic Center currently under construction in the newly developed City Center on US Highway 1.
Port St. Lucie’s Civic Center will be a unique state-of-the-art facility like no other on the Treasure Coast. This 100,000-square-foot facility will serve as the downtown spot for everyone to enjoy. The Center is scheduled to open in late 2008.
The Civic Center has been designed to offer something for everyone. Whether a corporation needs to host a conference or a parent wants to have his or her child participate in a recreational program, the Civic Center will be able to accommodate everyone.
The City is seeking interested organizations or individuals who would like to contribute to the development of this highly anticipated and much needed facility. Many universities and medical centers use similar programs to generate much needed revenue to fund vital capital projects.
