Earth Day plant sale at Botanical Gardens site

Posted: April 13, 2009

The ground was recently broken at the site of the Botanical Gardens, and the gardens won’t be officially open for a few more months. But that isn’t stopping the Friends of the Botanical Gardens from holding an Earth Day Plant Sale at the site on Saturday, April 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The site of the Botanical Gardens is 2410 S.E. Westmoreland Blvd. (on the west side; just south of Port St. Lucie Boulevard). At the sale, you’ll have the chance to purchase a wide variety of plants and related items for your garden from local nurseries and growers; get expert advice on your own garden from master gardeners and growers; tour the site and review plans of the future Botanical Gardens; and participate in raffles for plants.

For more information, call (772) 398-0707 or visit www.pslbotanicalgardens.org.
