Annual Spring Eggstravaganza set for Saturday, March 22
The City of Port St. Lucie’s Parks and Recreation Department will host the Annual Spring Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 22, at Whispering Pines Park, 800 S.W. Darwin Blvd. in Port St. Lucie.
Festivities in the Park begin at 9 a.m. and will include music, bounce house and slide, arts and craft projects, jellybeans counting contest, face painting, a petting zoo and refreshments. The Easter Bunny will arrive by helicopter to lead children 10 years and under to the egg hunt.
There will be candy and 12,000 eggs spread over the four baseball fields, which will be designated by age groups: Newborns to 3 years old (parents may accompany), 4 – 5yrs., 6 – 7yrs., and 8 – 10yrs.
