Are you looking for something fun for your child to do this summer? The Parks and Recreation Department has the perfect solution—sign your children up for Summer Sports Camp 2009.
Space is limited, and pre-registration is required. The city cannot hold spaces by phone. Week-long sessions will begin June 22 and run through early August.
Summer Sports Camp 2009 will be offered for a variety of sports and ages, including basketball, soccer, baseball, T-Ball and football. Sessions will be held at the Minsky Gym, Whispering Pines Park, Sportsman Park, and SLW Centennial High School. Download a detailed schedule and price list for the city’s 2009 Summer Sports Camps.
Registration must be done in person at the Port St. Lucie Community Center at 2195 Airoso Blvd., across from City Hall and at the Robert E. Minsky Gym, 750 S.W. Darwin Blvd. Registration is from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday. A copy of the child’s birth certificate is required at time of registration.
